Hello! Thanks for visiting Fight for Right! I hope you'll find your stay sufficiently enjoyable, and will return. I'm Jordan James, and to state the purpose of this site as simply as possible, I've pretty much decided to save the world.
Some may roll their older, wiser eyes in amusement and shamefully shake their shiny dome-shaped heads at this ridiculously bold statement — thinking that this is all merely the naive attempt of a simple-minded, inexperienced dreamer to be a vague sort of hero. They may very well be right (which really makes no difference to me). But whatever the case, I get much more satisfaction out of life through my obsession with maximizing human potential and happiness through motivation and influence, seeking to fight evil, and making significant contributions to society, than I would if I were cynical and critical of others' efforts to do the same! |
Although it may be entirely a subjective matter of opinion as to whether my shiny outlook on life is better or more accurate than a darker alternative, I really don't see any benefit to doom-and-gloom attitudes. I have yet to see an argument with sufficient logical support to convince me that I shouldn't be cheerful. What good does it accomplish to be aware of and dwell on how hopeless a situation we're all in?
Certainly, it is foolish to ignore the problems that exist; but it's also foolish to be miserable about it. I'm pretty sure that doesn't make it any easier to fix them. No, these miserable self-declared victims are just cheating themselves out of happiness. In other words, I consider the cynics, critics, and complacent complainers to be delusional fools, or at least more so than myself. (Take that!)
I expect, however, that most people reading this have excellent intentions, motives, thoughts and passions. I also think it's quite likely that you suffer from the same human condition that I do, and have a rather large discrepancy between your intentions and actual accomplishments.
It is my goal to learn (and share) how to minimize this discrepancy so that we can become the most efficient sources of good, happiness, wisdom, and light as is humanly possible in a world of darkness, suffering, evil, and confusion.

I do not claim to be an expert on any of the ideas presented in this website, but am trying to do my best to share what I do know and am learning, as well as all of the resources that I have. It is precisely because I am no more than a mere human and don't understand everything, that I need your help, ideas, and suggestions. I hope that not only you and I will benefit from this project, but the whole world. But no matter how many or few people are able to improve the quality and effectiveness of their lives through this, I believe it will be worth it. Even if it's only myself. |
