Here I will post, in non-chronological (or alphabetical) order, stories from my mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the names and details have been changed, to protect the innocent and/or guilty. (I will not tell you if I didn't change the names. Or if I did.) Any similarities between people and events shown here are purely intentional. Although I have taken somewhat halfhearted precautions against offending people by changing names and leaving out sensitive details, anyone who in any way was associated with me on my mission should be able to figure out what I'm talking about pretty dang easily. I apologize if I embarrass anybody; please understand that these stories are both very personal and important to me. I have tried to show everybody in as positive a light as possible.
Some of the stories will be composites of multiple experiences, in order to better portray certain characters or clarify specific storylines. I do not guarantee satisfaction; not all of my experiences were highly spiritual, not all were highly entertaining, and not all were happy. But a lot of them were! (Reader discretion is advised.) |

This is my blog about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or what is commonly referred to as Mormonism. Here you can find an outline of my beliefs, and answers to common (and uncommon) questions regarding the doctrines, practices, and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This site is not officially affiliated with the church, although much effort has been placed in trying to represent it accurately. If there are faults, they are the faults of men. I'm a pretty subject-to-error type of guy.

| The JordanSite @ Fight For Right! |

This is the personal website of Jordan James, creator of Fight For Right (www.FightForRight.net) and Zevran Entertainment (www.zevran.com). Find out what's going on with Jordan, what he's thinking about, and whatever else Jordan decides to post here!
A Bit About Me and Why I Chose to Create This WebsiteI'm an idealist, an artist, a computer geek, and a liberal arts student majoring in English (with an emphasis on creative writing) at Southern Virginia University. I came up with the idea to create this website while serving as a missionary in upper Florida for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (To learn more about my religious beliefs, visit my other blog at Mormondom.FightForRight.net.) I feel that the idea was inspired or revealed to me by God, and that this is one of the best ways I can serve God at this time in my life. Right now I am primarily a writer, although I have spent much of my life thus far in the visual arts and dabbling in music and performing arts (mostly acting and singing; I'm not particularly good at playing any instruments, and I'm much too clumsy to dance well — I'm good enough at falling off of things that I might consider being a slapstick comedian, though), as well as a ridiculous amount of time in front of computer screens. I find that the internet and web design are good outlets for most of these interests and abilities. One of my longer-term goals is to become a filmmaker. I love God, I want to do all I can to help the people around me, and I believe that it's only through Christ's infinite grace that I can reach my potential and ultimately achieve the joy of returning to God's presence and continuing to progress with my family and spiritual brothers and sisters.
